In June 2003 the Turkish National Assembly passed a new law permitting foreign nationals to purchase property in Turkey , allowing them the same rights as Turkish citizens. This created an explosion of interest, in both European visitors frequenting the Turkish coasts and international property investors; placing an already self-sustaining Turkish property market on the European property map.

With this valuable knowledge Exclusive Turkish Developments commenced an extensive research campaign of the Turkish Property Market to measure the true potential; we became aware that a particular aspect of the property market was not evident, Exclusive High Quality Villas and Apartments in the right Locations. After a thorough examination of fourteen high standard developments and meeting and forming strong relationships with developers we identified four unique developments and so Exclusive Turkish Developments was established to bring these properties into the Irish market.

The Company was established in December 2004 with offices in Kusadasi and Ireland. Our offices in Ireland (Co. Wicklow) are managed by Aykan Arslan. Aykan is a Turkish and Irish citizen and has been living in Ireland for over twelve years. ETD has the added benefit of having an Irish citizen who understands the Turkish Laws and Procedures and of course speaks the Turkish language. Our offices in Kusadasi are managed by our partner Merih Ilk of Turkish International Construction Plc. TIC is an established and renowned company in Kusadasi and has produced 12 medium to large sized projects with a total of 1307 houses in the last 30 years in and around the Kusadasi area.
